In 1946, the first nucleus of the company was founded in Serle in the province of Brescia by Commendator Giovanni Franzoni: the activity began with the transport of coal, produced in the surrounding areas and used as domestic fuel.
Over the years, the field of operation was expanded to the transport and trade of quarry stones, once transformed into lime in the famous “furnaces” and then used in the construction sector.
In the early seventies, groupage transport began, initially for the needs of the military departments of Lombardy and Veneto, and then gradually expanded throughout the country.

In 1992, the original company was spun off to create “Franzoni Sergio Autotrasporti” which continued its work in the national military transport sector.
The evolution of the service led, through the promotion of a policy of diversification within its operations, to the activation of various services such as the collection and transport of waste (special, hazardous and non-hazardous) and the transport of hazardous material under the ADR regime.
In 2001, with the birth of the associated company Auxilia Srl, the activity of Franzoni Sergio Autotrasporti extended to the removals and porterage sector with various types of internal and external handling.
At the end of 2005, for logistical needs, the headquarters was transferred from Serle to the industrial area of ​​Bedizzole, and at the same time “Franzoni Sergio Autotrasporti” was transformed into a company, thus allowing it to be more effective.

Today Franzoni Sergio Autotrasporti is a modern and efficient company, specialized in specific market niches, ranging from exceptional transport to ADR transport without neglecting groupage and intermodal transport.
